I immersed myself in the work of Tomas Tranströmer, Swedish poet, master of metaphor.

His texts are of great sensory accuracy and accompany a turning point in my work as a painter, which I began about ten years ago.

Last summer, I finally made a trip to the Baltic shore, following in my father's footsteps, a prisoner in Torgelow from 1940 to 1945.

I was moved by this family novel and this trip to the North revealed me a path to the paternal memory.

These paintings, immersed in the landscape, constitute a space in accordance with a deep world where a common reality is sketched out between my father and me.

Paper, matter, pigment are my only guides to translate my thought and inscribe time in the picture, Torgelow 1940-Torgelow 2017.
